He really is killing off his former team, but is replacing them with a bunch of capable suck-ups. The guide seems to begrudgingly allow it to see if it’s effective. First one he kills is the elf princess, who was trying to save her sister (I think) at a slave auction. Drains the sister’s power, she dies, then princess is stabbed. He buys an overpowered male slave before the fracas...

@mechpolaris this is more of a hero training facility. There are a shit ton of heroes that exist you know. 99% of them are the type of idiots that rely on love and friendship to beat the demon lord rather than superior combat technique.
The Fantasia world is fake and is created by the staff to train heroes. How else can they just rewind time only for the MC to retry once again?

This is essentially if any wannabe pseudo-normie were to actually be isekai'd. Every person in comment sections that are either like "Wow MC is dumb, he should just do this or that". This MC is quite the fucking ass hole overall. It's like, he's not even a funny ass hole like MC in 4-Cut Hero or something. He's just straight ass. Hate to find out that his comrades were actually just good people with eccentric personalities, and that his terrible anti-social personality just couldn't cooperate or keep up with the same energy.
