Hi I uploaded a chapter yesterday, pretty soon after just making an account. I'm wondering how soon I should expect to wait for mod approval, and whether I'd get any notification if I did something wrong? Apparently the chapter I submitted appeared briefly and then disappeared which I don't understand. Should I re-upload or should I just wait?

Its been uploaded but not approved. You can see it by enabling hidden chapters in Profile, Settings, Unavailable Chapters: Show (For Tracking Purposes). then you can click your Profile to see all your uploaded chapters (even if they havnt been approved).
First time uploaders get put into a manual moderators queue, which can take an hour to 10 days. Depending on when they check it and get thru it all. (The queue is Per Language, so even if youve got a cleared English, if you upload a Italian release it goes in queue)
