Four Years Apart - Ch. 59

Thank you for translating!

I’m not gonna lie, Irae’s wishy-washy attitude is starting to annoy me. She really needs to figure it out. Tell it to him straight whether you want to wait to be with him or not and be done with it. I really hope she gets it together soon or I may need to stop reading this. I still appreciate the translation group though! ♥️

This noona really dont know what she's missing out. Oh my god, can i just get isekai-ed and swap with her?

It's so strange to me that they chose this for the last few chapters.
All this showed me was that the side characters are so much more interesting than the main characters.

Argh. Irae doesn't really deserve Kang. Since childhood. I thought she'll redeem herself after causing a traumatic experience for Kang but no. Their amicable relationship is still brought about mostly by Kang's efforts.

Not liking this idol development tbh and can't say I'm impressed by Irae's indecisiveness.

I don’t think irae and kang are a good fit together, she and the older guy fit better and tbh kang’s arc should be him moving forward and if we’re gonna have an idol arc, have him have an idol arc??? But since it’s a romance and they’re the main leads what can we do? =.=

I have no problems with Jo Hanna. What I see are two teenagers viewing what a relationship would be through teenage eyes. That's forgivable. So far, the four years argument has not impressed me. Even if Irae and Kang were exactly the same age they would face these same issues (life goals, not knowing where they will live, independence, financial instability, do they want a family... what kind). These are things most people go through when they are young. To me, what makes a good story is seeing how they deal with these things and also how they try to make a relationship work.

Irae has been shown to be uninterested in thinking about a relationship with someone else (or more exactly unaware of it until it's brought to her attention). That's fine as there is no requirement for that in her life. Kang has been thinking about this so maybe it's his time to try. That point arrives at different times in different people's lives. If Hanna is able to persuade him to see her as a romantic partner then I see no reason to dislike her for it. In honesty, I think seeing them try and seeing them mature as a result would be more interesting.

I dont really like kang's choices. The red head is really pushy and its obvious he only thinks of her as a friend. I've been where she is before and she's just going to get hurt since she expects something more to come out of it. Irae is just really passive and she's trying to get over any feelings she has for Kang because of the age difference. Makes me feel bad for Kang because, yeah his feelings are reciprocated but he doesn't know that and she doesn't want them to be. Also idk what the point of him being an idol is. 🤔 I can't wrap my brain around how it's going to help them grow.

This idol storyline is so random...
So we're only going to get the response from Irae and that will be the end of it.

I'm a bit disappointed.

idol thing is kinda unnecessary and bothersome for their relationship. and i totally understand irae, she has right to be hesitant, and i would be the same. (he is not even adult yet) thanks for the chapter!

The red hair is not a bad girl. But if there's only 5 chapters left, he should make it clear that it's not going to happen

Thank God Kang has someone looking out for him. I love supportive teachers. They are so, so important, especially during the last year's of high school. I'm just getting more and more pissed at Irae. Their timing is never right
