For those wondering how can the masked girl still eat with her mask on, I have a theory.

Since her name is Kuchinashi and she is said to be a youkai, she is very likely based on the Kuchisake-onna, the woman with the cut mouth. She possibly extends her mouth so wide on the sides, that she can just put food there under the mask, without having to remove it. Imagine that.
