He's not supposed to kill that asshole because heroes are national assets; tools to be used at the nation's bidding. It's just that the asshole is too much of an asshole to bother caring. You already can tell the girl in end is going to stop the fight before anyone's killed because of how much attention and detail she's given. Shame, but every edgy manga has to have a few assholes to be dicks to the MC. I just really hope that this doesn't go the NTR route with his sister and Shiro being taken from him and raped.

@FgoSegul Believe me, I would rather this story focus more on world building and exploring more dungeons, but I'm guessing the asshole will try and ambush him in a dungeon to cover his tracks. Kuro dying in a dungeon could simply be blamed on Kuro not being strong enough to defeat some monster. Everyone would know that isn't true, but no one would have any proof otherwise.

Honestly, don't understand why he wouldn't just slice the head instead of an arm.... A hero that kills innocent people, his own benefactor on top of that, aren't heroes and will likely turn on the population...
