Not gonna lie, based on the chapter title ("I am here"), I thought they were referencing the letters they sent back in chapter 6, swapping "We" with "I" and suggesting only 1 survived. But that doesn't seem to be the case; the original message being "We are fine".

I also forgot we still have ONE more chapter left. So, hopefully it ends well.

Kurumi is not dead (yet ?) , but she was/is really close to it (need to see if the water worked) and both Yuki and the other girl are very scared of losing her, that's why Kurumi is already added to the "ghost group".

Anyway, only one more chapter.
It will be a happy end for these 4, or it will be a Biohazard ending...without the chopper to save them.

It's been a fun ride, everyone, and I, as many others, are sad to see this journey come to a close. This has been one of my favorite mangas that I've read, and I'm hoping that this series will end on a happy note.

Final Ch.78 Preview: (not full just first 3 pages). Looks like might not be as bad but who knows if kurumi is okay. It's a bit of a jump from where we left off from but it does seem odd to actually move the story that far ahead. I'm amazed they've lasted so long without fresh food and clean water... unless they've got the University Roof Farm okay and plenty of ration like food, tins and stuff.
