Gay Fuuzoku no Mochigi-san - Sexuality Is Life - - Vol. 1 Ch. 16 - I and When a Woman Used the Brothel

I think Mochigi’s way off on this one. Maybe I’m just a bit too sensitive but comparing asexuality (at least that’s how I see the woman) to the type of people you love (that part’s probably also problematic but idk) feels just a bit dismissive and uncomfy :/ He does seem to call it an identity at the end but I guess he just hasn’t heard of asexuality if he’s set it apart from sexuality.

I have no idea what he means by being satisfied by distance or whatever either. Whole thing just feels like he doesn’t really know what he’s dealing with.

@selenuntius I didn’t take the woman to be describing asexuality. I interpreted that as not wanting to be seen as a sex object by her boyfriend and other men, which is common to basically all women regardless of their sexual orientation. I think what mochigi was trying to get across is “we both fell for people who can’t love us back”
