@metasepia if he forgives him then he's showing that you can commit treason without punishment. i would be willing to accept forgiving his daughter but he's one of the 3 most powerful nobles in the realm and he rose up in rebellion. if you don't put this down completely it will leave embers for future rebellions to start.
