We live in a society. Those students are scarier than the burdens themselves so far, honestly.
Yoshino does seem to have have a good mentality for this power of hers, willing to help but also respecting personal space. She found out about Tomoe's situation and helped her out, but not in a nosy or invasive manner.
It's hilarious how nearly all of their school's mysteries were complete bullshit when the story deals with supernatural entities.
