@meidunk The team gets a lot of success through his development. The first wins had him beating the Nagoya midfield (and Carlos) and scoring, and tiring out the Osakan captain and helping switch the momentum of that game.

@meidunk Yeah I agree with Cynic -- every team has a key player and in ETU's case, that's Tsubaki. His progress from a rando to a NT representative also highlights what a good job Tatsumi (the MC) has done

In a way Tatsumi isn't the main character. The team is in the sense all people being directly connected to it : Tatsumi of course, but all the players, the technical team, the supporters...
I love this manga cause it show a real love for the football, and it's most beatifull aspect and a real knowledge of the topic.
