Regardless of all the bad stuff that happened, I'm happy they tried to wrap up the story somewhat. The messages in the manga make me feel like the author really cares what they write about, and that's enough to make it a good manga imo. Still rushed ending but whatever, I liked it. There was an attempt but it seems like they just kind of ran out of steam and couldn't actually finish what they started. I mean Gin hooked up with a woman in 2 chapters and Asa and gf hooked back up off screen. Pacing seemed to go poorly in the last several and it shows.

You can make an effort but if you don't know how you want to end up you can end up like this.
