@N2O It's not just in manga, there are plenty of people (of both genders, although probably a bit more men than women) who like seeing others pee. Manga probably uses it a lot because it's something you can add in without making the manga R-18. Sort of handy for showing a character's perversion without going too far.

@manabi well I'm aware of the fetish, it just seems exceedingly common in Japanese stuff. I'm not sure I buy that explanation either since it crops up so often in JAV as well as hentai comics/anime; I don't really mind one way or the other in that context if that's something people enjoy, but it definitely weirds me out when it keeps finding its way into otherwise innocent manga in a sudden out of the left field manner
