Lmao the simplest way is not to knock it out (ko'ing catfish is super hard. Sometimes they're still alive even when you've removed their internal organ. Some can still wiggling and moving when you fry them, even without their internal organ). You want to make them stop moving, just kill them. The simplest way is just cut off their spine.
