I kind of see where he’s coming from, the lines between the Internet and real life blur for Internet celebrities. It also seems that women deal with a particular nastiness online when they’re perceived by fans to have slighted them somehow. At the end of the day though, he shouldn’t tell her how to live. He should explain his concern to get it off his chest, but then he needs to live with it himself.
