good harem manga for people who don't like harems

So typically I really hate harems and keep the harem tag excluded by default. But a bit ago I saw a Konosuba meme on another site and that reminded me "oh yeah, that show was technically a harem, wasn't it?" I saw the anime version some years ago and liked it pretty well (kazuma was best character), so I was inspired to ask what good stuff I might be missing by ignoring everything tagged with harem.

As reference for anyone gracious enough to provide recs, the reasons I'm avoiding the tag in the first place: the harem aspect itself of course. but also spineless/boring/throwaway protagonists seemed kinda common from what I saw and that always kills a story for me

it's significantly different from general harem, and one of best comedy manga i ever read.
but i don't sure you'll consider the MC is not "spineless/boring/throwaway"
