Honestly, I seem to remember some of my peers at the military academy getting ooh'd and aah'd over by some of the local girls when we were let off base for the first time since the start of basic training. None of them were quite so reserved and flustered about it as the FMC here, but that's just not our culture anyhow. Ahh, the memories. Those brief memories of feeling kinda cool in between the long stretches of being constantly worried about being subpar and fears of failure as a cadet and soldier.
