Hataraku Maou-sama no Meshi!

You know, this is the one series that makes no sense to me. The anime was actually popular, the light novel and manga sell really well.... there are popular spin-offs for this series as well... and yet, season 2 isn't out....
I mean, I get that the anime would be a hard act to follow. Most series use around 6 volumes per season, but this used 2 volumes per season... so it'd be difficult to do the same. If it's too long, people would be bored of it; but if they speed things too much, it'd also be a problem. Too much stuff happens per volume.
But even then... Alas Ramus... just her arc... please, just do her arc....
We need season 2....

I too wish for a sequel, though at this point a reboot might be more likely.
As for the main novel that concluded, for some reason a lot of people are angry 'she' won, but it was fairly obvious from the get-go those two would end up together, and I was rooting for them so I'm satisfied at least...

@deathmailrock Exactly! The anime, manga and light novel were all hit, but still no season 2. It's really sus. Also it might be the case that the anime was an advertisement for the light novel, just to boost the light novel sales. Maybe author doesn't want to do another anime adaption cause light novels are already a huge hit, he's getting shit load of money from the light novels.
Also I was in the Hataraku Maou-sama reddit, and some people even burned/tore their light novels after reading the ending. I haven't read the LNs but it must've been really bad, people literally went crazy.

@Arin-san It apparently didn't fit with the plot development and we could have easily have gotten another ending that would have given us more if he really wanted her...
Of course, the anime might have just been too good of an adaption. 2 volumes into an entire season is actually too good if you think about it... but it'd also be hard to keep up...
