I just double checked my facts regarding the enrolment in the Nazi party: on that I was wrong. My mistake. I was not intentionally trying to spread false information, so please spare me of any such accusations.

That said, you still seem to have missed what I was trying to say -- perhaps it was my phrasing. I was not trying to justify Heidegger himself, merely the validity of his philosophical works (the Jewish philosopher Hannah Arendt was among the defenders of them). Additionally, I firmly believe that "enthusiastic" gives rather the wrong impression and is here being applied rather too liberally; I believe the adjective you were seeking is "unrepentant." However, this is merely a semantical argument, one I think it isn't worth discussing on a manga thread.

Honestly, I would have preferred if the father did NOT proceed with the transplant, and the MC is a real asshole here. If I were in MC place I would probably react the same, but as a 3rd party observer I am more on the father side. In real life there are extensive psychological test involved to prevent people being forced or pressured into "donation" against their will

why the hell is there a law in Japan that restricts living organ donors to family members only? Orphans are just SOL then?
