Makes sense, I just said it due to all the general stuff, manhua,manwha,manga, which have the same premise, I'm unable to find a story where it's is the female the one who has to compete for the male, but I'm starting to get quite annoyed, as I always see a shitty 2nd male love shitting good or just normal stories, can't they just make stories without involving 3th parties shitting on the story, you can always say it helps to develop the characters, but it is always the ML who has to develop then.
I guess simping has become a trending all around the world, this story will be who is able to simp more and better.

There are also reverse harem, I would give you a fair chance if all harems were male ones, reality is that there are lots and lots of reverse harem stories or pseudo reverse harem stories like this one, even if doesn't have the harem tag.
I can count with my fingers how many harems I have seen ending like true harems, 1 male with plenty of women, it is almost impossible to find one.
Each time I see romance,drama,tragedy,manhua,manwha or more of that shit, I know it's gonna be a bunch of simping men competing for the dumb women, and if the ML wasn't simping enough, the rivals are even more simpers and don't know when to give up, because the FL is always seeming like she likes the competition they have for her, she never says, sorry, be gone,I'm already in love, you have no chances with me, and if they said it (very few cases), the ML rival still doesn't give up.
While if I see few of the manga/manwha/manhua with several males and women competing for both MC, the male always solves the issues quickly, you never see the FL rival craving for the ML during all the series, because the ML quickly solves the problem and says, enough is enough, I'm still trying to find a FL, who isn't dumb as hell and establishes things without having to create shitty rivalry and overused drama, just something where they have a complex stories without a ML rival occupying the plot for half of the chapters of that serie/manga.
And there is always NTR, like those "stolen kisses", I hate that shit.

well, it makes sense doesn't it? Like the concept of ecchi and harem etc. tends to be male wish fulfillment. (though it's hilarious that we barely get to hand holding in a lot of them hahaha!)
Being desired by multiple men would be the same thing for women.

There's one I read the first chapter today where the FMC literally goes for a guy with a girlfriend. I admire her tenacity, the crazy toxic tenacity lol.
Even in seinen/shounen you'll find that a lot of F-MCs get stressed when a female rival appears.

That is the main point, they aren't really harems, they are more like a bunch of numales who have lots of girls around, you always know nothing will happen until the end when he would decide who is the winner, sometimes he ascends the ultimate numale level and decides to be a numale forever, so no girls, there is no real tension, no real pleasure of knowing that for once it is the male who is taking the role and desire.
----Being desired by multiple men would be the same thing for women.
Yes, the thing is that it doesn't happen in just reverse harem, it happens in nearly all romance or tag like, tragedy,drama,ecchi,schoolife,smut..., so yes, if the male characters is desired by multiple women, we need to make it so the female character is also desired by multiple men, that is in the few cases where the male is desired and is a playboy who loves attention of women around him.

Idk what is seinen, but shounen is the numale thing I said, even the chaddest of shounen characters like Asta is already devoted to the priest, Luffy is asexual, Natsu is asexual, even in stories like AOT you need a simp like Jean to justify Eren having girls around him, so if Eren has the girls around him, you need a simp like Jean around Mikasa.

Yes, the girl will suddenly love the ML, the guy with a girlfriend will break up with the girlfriend and so the battle of simps will start, with the FL thinking who does she love more, the ML or the guy she used to love, there will be tons of drama, maybe some NTR, lot of tension, ML will simp hard, guy even harder and so on until FL decides she loves ML and decides to make him her sexual slave forever.
