@theodorethebear: A lot of the puns are related to the titles, iirc.

In this case...the clothes are from the King/"Emperor", but they sort of follow the "Emperor's New Clothes" story format. Beautiful new clothes that when he puts them on...poof it's like he's not wearing clothes.
