Somehow, I'm happy about their relationship.

I am somewhat disappointed with the ending. It was great somewhere up until the human king but then it dropped in story quality in favor of Naruto-esque escalation, which was quite uncalled for - especially since from the Empire's perspective it's a rather large, but still quite backwater, conflict. And "everyone lives" is an underwhelming ending. Could have killed a couple of secondary characters tbh.
Ah well, you take what you can get.

Thanks for the translation.
Thanks for making it possible for us to enjoy this wonderful story.

Yaay... change my opinion a few times about this manga. Eventually it become one of the special one.

But the battle is so long it's a bit exhausting to read.

Rereading this gem of a Manga. If I had one complaint it'd be that the final battles felt too long for the pacing of the overall Manga and that the escalation of battles seemed out of place. I'm also not the biggest fan of an "everyone lives" ending. At the very least, I kinda wish Cless and Charami died. Overall, I'd still give it a solid 9/10

I'm happy & sad

I'm okay with helck's decision but thinking about cless as the king, if there's someone else with control ability... He's done for
It won't take long until those human become scum again. Those sonovabich
I hope hyura & edil won't end up together

Hold up! I thought anne from management & vamirio the red heavenly king were completely different person?!

ik people are dissatisfied with the "everyone lives" ending, but i think it's fine. helck tried so hard to save everyone and had gone through so much that i think he deserves an ending where he can be happy and everyone he cares abt is safe. easily a 10/10 manga for me

also i think isuta and hyura should end up together

A perfectly fine ending. For how much suffering everyone went trough it's well deserved.

Instead of saying that "I would never betray you" and shit like that, they could've just put "Never gonna give you up"

The problem isn't the ending, it's how they arrived there. Everything after Helck and Vamirio reached the castle is pretty poorly done, the huge amounts of exposition (which still didn't make for a particular engaging story), and the ass pulling that happened every chapter was tiring. I remember really liking the series, but re-reading it has left a sour taste in my mouth.
