I kinda hate how media as a whole tends to use the, “a hero’s justice isn’t everyone’s justice,” trope. Heroes should easily be able to refute that type of thing simply because the justice the villains follow spits in the face of human rights. Moral compasses can clearly be deranged and off, same goes for one’s view on justice. Why so many heroes get tripped up by that kind of thing is beyond me. It only really works when civilians are shown suffering from the hero’s actions and this manga does the exact opposite. It just makes that line seem rather silly because the prez’s justice has been clearly shown as a detriment to society while literally nothing bad has come out of the hero club’s version of justice.
On a more related note, ty ty for the translation! Despite my mild criticism, I’m quite enjoying this series.
