This story is actually good. The mc character’s is also good and the relationship that builded between every characters also stable.

I wonder why it’s doesn’t sell much in japan. Is it bcs it lacks of romance? Politics isn’t my cuppa but this one isn’t that hard to swallow.

And i agree with @SweetNarry about kuro’s mustache.

Anyway, this master-butler relationship has a hard kuroshitsuji’s vibe, lol.

@mammaria iirc, there were creative issues between the author and artist, so the artist quit. unfortunately unless vol 2 sales do well in japan they probably won’t hire a new artist just to continue, so this may be the end, hence the strong message of “buy vol 2” at the end of every chapter

Why must they have artistic differences on such an amazing work when the artist did such a breathtaking job?!

@vierseason Maybe, the problem is simply that the story doesn't fit the sorts of lame ass tropes that are popular, and instead, is gripping, emotionally powerful, and doesn't pull its punches? Maybe, paradoxically, that doesn't seem to sell?
