Hiding entire series from view

Hey there. I was wondering, is there, or can there please be, an option to hide entire series from view? Say I never intend to read something or a series I followed turned to garbage and I dropped it and never want to see it in the updates again. Is it possible to include an option for a series to not show up in the recent updates list? I figured "dropped" would make it disappear but that doesn't do it. I really like having that new updates list because it introduces me to new series relatively often or series that have been picked back up, but it can also get really cluttered with stuff I know I'll never read, but don't want to wipe the entire genre from the list just so I stop seeing that particular one, or stuff that updates daily or whatever.

Mangadex is the best manga reader site I know of these days, and that one inclusion would be such a huge QOL increase for me.
