there haven’t been new chapters to the main story in months, anyway.
At this point I assume they’ll start back up once the anime starts airing or finishes or something.
Maybe once this series completes?

They’re clearly engaged at the end of volume 7, so that’ll be yet another major tone shift.
First it was “secret feelings”, then it was a “sexuality confusion” resolving over FOREVER, then we got the better part of two volumes of “happily dating queer teenagers” with coming out scenes and other legit gayness. What’s next? More family drama? Will they be a campus couple? Will we jump ahead to married life? The possibilities!!!

My guess is it will be after this series. There’s no way volume 8 of SasaMyaa won’t spoil the end of this.

They wouldn’t cut ties with such a close friend as Hirano.
