@deathmailrock I agree but it's such a worn out trope, I wish sometimes an MC ever says " I'll never raise my hand on you, not cz you're a girl and I'm a gentleman but cz I love you, so can we agree that you do the same " like, how hard a concept is that to put in a comedy, a lot of jokes don't have to rely on the mc getting beaten (by his lover oc, friend are okay).

@tarekbn Well, it's just a common joke trope. But I don't think it's worn out at all.

And that thing you said kinda ruins the joke. It takes the slapstick seriously.

The author needs to stop using forms of domestic violence (pretty small forms tbh) as a comedic plot piece. Seriously, it makes Hori look like one of those low-key toxic untrusting people I or anyone else have the displeasure of dealing with.
