Midnight Villain gave the link. I read it and, according to the free preview, she was misunderstood as talking to one of her lovers about poisoning her husband. He was forced to kill her out of self-defense, apparently.

Juliana is just a minor character who is part of Evan's backstory in the novel. I guess male leads with a tragic past are popular and Juliana is the tragic past - his wife who betrayed him with her lovers.

Not sure if there will be a twist later on.
