I really hate it when the author skips the bits with deaths and killings. Wanted to see how the gang went down.

do not agree wit sergeek. The killings are cool and visceral, but this story is built on longer-term stuff. Showing the zombies killing humans for a full five pages would just feel like filler. I mean, it's not that interesting: the humans freeze or fail to fight, the zombies get a good bite in, done.
