She thinks he’s her dad’s love child and therefore younger half-sibling. Takes a LOT to convince her otherwise. And his friend just wants him to watch over her as she’s starting her guild career. Haven’t seen him get a love interest. He seems uninterested and the girls really admire him more than anything. Also, the king also has a couple young daughters. Apparently they had a healer in the group that he wed.

And by that, I mean pointless romantic tension that never gets resolved because of age differences (decent reason but annoying when both charas obv like each other), MC not wanting a relationship (even though author clearly writes the character as being very attracted), MC “not deserving love” somehow, etc.
Or it’ll just end up one sided the whole time which is just as annoying.
