can you please not use such an annoying watermark? nothing will happen if you don't use it, you can just put an end card or something with your group on it. no need to ruin the artwork. at the least please use a translucent watermark.
Bright, saturated colors attract the most user attention. Too much of it in a large area overstimulates the retinas which can strain the eyes. a pitch black watermark completely kills the artwork because it becomes the anchor of each panel, which is obviously not good.

and 'bright' here just means saturation. use grey or an low saturated color to fix this.
