only two chapters left until we catch back up with raws! next chapter will probably take a little longer because i'm still cleaning danmaku off niannian's face, lol.

this chapter was fun because we got some more backstory, and tbh i'm more interested in the antique-gathering part of the story than the idol part, lol. unfortunately the antiques are also a pain to translate (neither of us know art terms very well) so we've tried our best here, lol.

the first iteration of the crane and clouds vase name was 'floating cloud pine crane' which just sounds like some xianxia skill name. eventually we decided to pare it down and let the exposition explain what it meant.
