Don't really care for the current direction of this...I know Ripley was being ridiculous with her latest pla but I kinda hate how the Duke follows along...to kind punish her and maybe make her jealous? Though, their interactions have been rather toxic overall (aka the Duke sleeping with her while she intoxicated, his threats, her lying and being dense).

I'm honestly shipping them less and less overall now which sucks cause the funny moments are rather hilarious (mostly due to their expressions and ignoring the more negative undertones).

Seriously, this could all have been if they'd just pretend that she's together with Wright, there was no reason why they couldn't just do that even when he's not present. Just after everything had resolved you had to make Ripley come up with the stupidest way to resolve the problem just so she could become insecure because of the original novel (which was already resolved a few chapters ago). The only thing keeping me from dropping this are the occasional flirting and sweet moments, but the conflicts in between are pretty Yikes.
