Man I was screaming the whole time RIPLEY TAKE OFF THOSE DANG HEELS, I guess in the end it didn’t matter but still!
I also like how this author isn’t afraid to let Ripley get hurt. I’ve read SOOO many stories where there’s a threat of danger but the FL always manages to get out unscathed, so much to the point where I don’t ever worry about their safety. It sounds weird but I’m glad that the author is willing to hurt Ripley so the stakes stay feeling high.
