I Want to Become a Heroic Swordswoman! - Ch. 19 - Grounded?

What does her dad do for a living!? Is he a detective or something!? Cause that was some mighty fine sleuthing he did there.
I still can't tell if I'm going to like him or not... He's quite overbearing, but so far he hasn't done or said anything unreasonable.... So why is everyone so afraid of him? Just cause of his detective abilities?

Gotta say, I'd hate to have Sherlock Holmes for a dad. Maybe not going to school will give her a chance to start training again . . . her current body has to be way out of shape compared to what she's used to.
Say, with him being so ridiculously capable at deduction, I wonder if he'll eventually figure out that she's someone else?

It was kinda simple to do since he's used to his son messing around. When it happens often you tend to notice the signs. Also, it's not like the father hasn't done similar when he was a child.

The father is strict, you can tell noone really wants to get disciplined by him. Doesn't look like he's violent. Just verbally harsh.

Dunno, they're rich, and probably nobles.

Hes the head of the household. The servants can get fired or lose their lives. The wife, son, daughter can be disowned. Kicked out of the house, the money gets poofed. Pretty scary when life is extremely uncertain in their time period.

@domo404

That all sounds pretty reasonable.... But it sounds more like the reasoning for a chaebol Korean drama than a martial arts Chinese manhua haha. For the servants at least, I totally agree. They could lose their lives pretty easily and so they have a right to be scared..... But I didn't think they seemed afraid for their lives... Though maybe I'm just not remembering well since it's been a few days since I read this chapter already haha

Its half martial arts and half korean drama. Gonna have both but honestly the majority of this is gonna be korean drama.

They have some high class jobs let's be honest. They work for nobles and in term probably get a decent wage and living compared to the rest of their town.

Their master success is their success. The son and daughter wont be that severely punished but the servants who are suppose to aide and manage them would be.

Oh my I'm really curious about he and her Shixiong's identities now! Could they likely have noble blood?
