Called it! Her parents really did have an idea about her peculiar ability. That's why I'm saying she's too haughty to decide to 'run', away without discussing anything with her parents. I hope she stops thinking that eventually.

@ClueByFour There's a great difference between having the ability to see the future and simply having visions or glimpses of it: if you can't really control your power to your advantage, then it's not really that much of an asset for the job (we have yet to see her be able to control what she can see or when she can see it).

Besides, it's not like they're gonna completely forsake her; the origin of the problem is that they're gonna give the succesion power to the lil' brother, not that they will kill her, abandon her, imprison her, denounce her or anything negative, just that instead of her being the future lord of the house, it will be her sibling. Everything afterwards will be due to tradition and politicking malarkey as it always is.

Like, it seems like he may be in more of a difficult position than is obvious, too. Maybe this is a least-bad-of-all-worlds sort of decision. But if he really did train some young lad to be an assassin just to protect his own daughter, as it presently appears to be on the surface of it... That's not a very nice thing to do at all. :/

Oh nooo! Who’s the male lead? the prince is so cute but then her attendant is so cute too. And the fact that the prince is born to loose something. it makes me think he’ll loose her in more ways than one: her leaving (if she can cause she’s gotten caught before ) and her falling for her attendant. I guess it’s too early to tell but I just know I’ll have a hard time
