Hmm, so everything is to build up to this moment where he realizes the flaws that he always has all along, but was hidden because he never try to face it himself before.
I was to drop the manga because the time-travelling plot-device was getting too bullcrap but this character development is not bad.

in the original future he was her husband. I don't see why he has to give that up. So what if you two are similar. right now, mc hasn't gone down the path of stalker os just like idk, report the stalker, get rid of him and be happy. cringe plot point of i am the villain i want to fight therefore i must sacrifice my life and shit

Page 4 confused me a bit, until I realized the first hooded guy was running away and the other guy was coming out as a distraction.
And huh, MC went back to the point in time where they just arrived at the park. The previous times, he returned to just before he got injured and sent back to the future, right?

@Legion_01: I’ve always held the thought that this story had one’s sense of self-worth in a romantic relationship as a theme since the start, since his lack of confidence from comparing himself to Mika’s past partners caused an issue in his ability to be intimate with her. But now he got this added worry in this chapter that his desire to have Mika’s virginity was fueled by a wish to possess and dominate her entirely (which is similar to all those guys who raped her or just used and threw her away in the original timeline), so compared to before when he thought he was unworthy of Mika because smol dik, now he thinks he’s unworthy of her because he believes he’s a total creep who’s unsuited to being loved.
It’s all come down to being a matter of confidence and being able to love himself by the end, I say.

The guy she said the same lines to will probably be the other hooded dude. That or the painter dude which might be the same person.
In all this is one interesting as hell read. It is reaching the end and I honestly believe this is the climax of the series because he is just giving up Mika and of course backfire and fight or Mika spirit form will witness this because plot and something happens and they do end up as high school sweethearts

Ooh, chapter 31 revealed at lot...
Hooded dude(mastermind) is actually just messed up in the first place, and has been obsessively collecting "mementos" of Mika since a year before. Been that way since way back, since he's been doing it to other girls as well. Meanwhile, hooded guy(accomplice) got involved because he got caught getting a good ol' sniff of Mika's shoes... that apparently tastes like sake lee (left over lee from sake production) and miso, according to the mastermind... yup.
