Hi Shmuff, this is a planned feature. We already have working public and sharable follows now, we'll be expanding on that later by letting users make their own custom folders/lists. You can find this listed in the the megathread.

Oh yes, this would be nice to have. I'm looking forward to it.

Side note: On YouTube and over on Dynasty, I find that I basically use custom lists as a pseudo-tagging system... So this feature may be somewhat related to the #5904 Custom private tags feature request.
