Honestly, Bakatou actually got a good deal in this story. Sure, he is currently spiritually and physically weak, but he has a real -if misguided and stupid- friend that's trying to make him recover. He likely will never bully people again after shirosaki melted his existance, but now he has more chances of having a good life than anyone with a name in this manga
