I know this is a game, but why not bury the corpse?

Yes, but certain actions often trigger hidden aspects of quests, and cremating or burying a dead body to lay the soul to rest seems like a no brainer thing to do, and it doesn't take much effort. Your looking at a person that took hours and hours checking every rock and pushing every gravestone looking for hidden doors in the OG Zelda, despite the fact that 50% of the map was rock and touching gravestones spawns ghosts that attack you.

@Mojo well it’s difficult when your in a party and their already leaving though, I understand the feels tho....the chance of a secret especially one that no one else knows of is exciting
