serious buildup here, slow reveal on the ^CA$HMONAY~ and taking recorded evidence what? isnt it supposed to be some random high ranking detective busting into the party thats also embroiled in the uncle's scams but more high-tier government contracts they're funnelling money from, and then when the "true" restaurants owner (who gave it to our venerable immortal) and then the detective needs to act like he's covering his ass and try to lock up the uncles and stay on the good side of the "all mighty elites." but then the uncle wants to drag him down too and tries to coerce the detective to kill our venerable immortal and all the "bad witnesses" like the "true elite" previous restaurant owner, because he has some buko-blackmail he threatens to release and the detective gets all frustrated and shit and starts to fire his gun at people and our venerable immortal talks his talk and smacks the fuck our of both of them and the son too. struts off like "what the fuck you want other uncles and aunts" and they sit their with a shit-grin on their face and hes finishes it with "get these motherfuckers out of MY restaurant. damn bitches" and pimps off into the night.

but yeah. otherwise just a buildup chapter lol

Can confirm that there have been such cases here in SA (Argentina to be exact). The worst thing is that no matter how much people give them shit for it, it is all for naught. If you try to stand against them you have to count yourself lucky if they're not going after you (pretty likely to happen tho) since the judicial system/judges is/are slave(s) of the one holding Rivadavia's Cane since forever.
