lmfaoo, like no defrauding old people is genuinely evil and i do feel for hajime, but at the same time thats what happens when you place a moral imperative on a certain type of work (salaried office jobs) for their own sake. Its different to work for the sake of a check alone, when you work just to say that you're working with no regards for your happiness or what your work is contributing to the world then its easy to get into pitfalls like this. A company's only goal is to make profits, and all you're ever going to get from working in service of that is a salary, like if you have any other option, especially something that keeps you with the people you love, doing what makes you happy, choose that
