Oh wow...a female protagonist capable of realizing her own feings for the male lead so fast and without the need of others spelling it out for her o.o

@keks503 Couldn't have said it better myself, I had the exact same reaction after this chapter. It's almost a little ironic since story portrays her as incompetent, but she's actually able to recognize and accept her feelings much faster than we usually see. So at the very least you can count that a strength in her favor.

What will happen next?
A. Situ Xiu, having realized her feelings like so many female protagonists have failed to do before her, will take her love life into her own hands and show the general once and for that she is, in fact, a woman!
B. Situ Xiu, mentally traumatized by realizing her feelings, will run away from the camp.
C. Cang Yu will come running after Situ Xiu, hoping to comfort her after he has dealt with the visiting royalty.
D. Situ Xie will quit her job as the protagonist, since she no longer met the denseness requirements.

D. How could you possibly think anything else would happen? Denseness to a protagonist is like air to human beings.
