In the Land of Leadale - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Grasping the Situation

Wow this became manga.
I am reading only prologue in novel as translator only doing it as teaser, but no one pick it.

I guess I can get behind this one. See Cute Elf->Hit Follow Button hasn't let me down THAT badly so far.

Leadale's original webnovel is pretty old, written between 2010-2012.

Although the webversion's main story is complete at 72 chapters, author states the light novel version is slightly different, esp. the characters.

Kadokawa started publishing the LN version in Jan 2019.
Vol 4 is the latest release, in March 2020.

Enjoyed the chapter, went to look for it on novelupdates. Only the prologue was ever translated, and that was 3 years ago... :<

I hope for a wholesome adventure story. Please... just give me that. No unneeded drama.

Power outage for 2 seconds killed her? I may be mistaken, but I highly doubt you can die from being disconnected from life support for a measly 2 seconds. Unless that time frame wasn't about the lenght of the outage alone but was just mentioned as the delay to the other announcements.
Next thing, a hospital would usually have an emergency generator (or however you properly call them in english) which would kick in in a power outage bringing some much needed electricity into the system, giving the hospital staff time to resolve the power outage issue.
So unless this is some really convoluted way of hinting at someone intentionally unplugging her from life support, I'd say the author did an awful job coming up with a reason for MCs death.

That aside, I like the rest chapter though. Even if it ticks off the typical Isekai start, seeing how she wakes up in a (semi) unfamiliar place, lacks common knowledge about said place (specifically how it changed compared to how she knew it) and is in denial of her situation at first, thinking it must be a dream.

@blablablub I'm assuming her parents cut her off, and only the two seconds were registered to the AI, her parents probably thought it would be better if she was killed given her circumstances and collectively decided to pull the plug on her. That's what I'm assuming at least.
