Honestly, this type of curse... seems quite trivial? Just get along with each other and be friends while you try figure out what this curse is together...? It's not like you can't make other friends at the same time too, right? I would have expected them to get along with each other and bond over their shared annoyance at the inconveniences this curse brings and make an inside joke of it.
