Inbox notification remains after deleting message

I got a message from a now deleted user called "guest" which was titled "Hey honey)". Assuming it was a whorebot, I deleted it, and now I've got this little red envelope next to my name that won't go away.

@ninjadork I went read the message (just read it don't do go clicking the link on it).
It goes away after that.

@ninjadork you could see the message "subject"/"title" yes? Click on it.
Or if you refer to it's being gone, it'll be located on the trash bin near the tab where you could write a message.
