Tokita is the most annoying character. He's uncommunicative, pointlessly hostile and condescendingly tries to play the role of the martyr.

(I'm not really convinced it'd be that easy to manipulate people, even highschoolers, but I can let that slide for the sake of the story I guess)

It is a pretty interesting concept. Even without 'Irises', people have been unable to properly use what they can perceive as well as they'd like for all of human existence.

That love detector iris is actually preety useful. As long as you have someone near you who like the person you want to find you always know what direction they are from there. It's kind of like a tracker.
