Is there a way to know about new chapters in completed mangas?

Sometimes there's a special chapter o something like that in a manga that I mark as Completed. The problem is that I don't realize because I can't see every new chapter everyday and I go to follows directly. The last time that this happened to me was with this manga: https://mangadex.org/title/21574/chihaya-san-s-fine-that-way

So... is there a way that I can see these new chapters in Follows (or something like that) or the only way is let them in Follow status?

At the moment? Unfortunately not really, other than "manually" checking through the Completed tab in your follows ( https://mangadex.org/follows/chapters/2 ). We are definitely going to look into improving the read marker system, but right now it is what it is due to performance concerns.
