Isekai de Slow Life wo (Ganbou) - Vol. 2 Ch. 7 - Peace has come

I think I have a different definition of the word 'peace'

get the girl beat the piggy MC, can't wait to see his 2 slaves jelly as fuck/beating him up cause he was with another girl OTL

How noble for the MC to proclaim Wendy as his slave so she doesn't become a slave of a different person. Truly a gentleman.

>I don't want slaves
>Begrudgingly accept two slaves
>Finds out Wendy is a slave
>I will protect (Wendy is my slave) her!
The complete heel turn by my MCs regarding slaves in JP Isekai never gets old.

So it gonna be isekai brothel 2 as he has the same potion making job. Or not ?this one has slaves already.

facepalm, the brothel trope again. Can they only do it if it's with hookers or slaves, or is this the only thing that mangakas can come up with? seriously.

So wait...
The 2 girls who became his slaves are professional warriors a.k.a. strong adventurers but still only worth 1 mio. together!
Wendy on her own is now 120 times as valuable as 2 veteran fighters?

What the heck kind of abilities or/and family heritage does she have?
Or did the author completely ignore that it is not so easy to create a capable fighter - even more so a capable good-looking female fighter like those two - and hence made them to be cheaper than they should have been for his own story purposes?

🤔

@jokerxhisoka
No, the MC surely could do it with normal girls, too.
But that would require the author to write a story about how the MC gets to know the beauties, how he gets closer to them, how the girls develop feelings for the MC and all such things.
And that for EVERY girl individually and withour repetition of the same things.

The slave and brothel version on the other hand is far easier:
1. MC went to get slaves / have fun in the borthel -> He knows the girls.
2. MC does something good for the girls like buying them while a bad man aimed for them as slaves or healing some illnesses they get due to thei jobs in the brother -> They have a reason to like the MC.
3. As slaves they have to do whatever the master tells them anyway / By working in a brothel they are paid for the desired action in the first place. -> They have a reason to do it with the MC.

So as you can see it is simply the author taking the easier way because he does not have the ability / time / interest to write a deeper rooted development for the girls.

@SlipTrick
I doubt that it would be that easy.
Slave merchants run a business based on trust.
Furthermore we learned that the guy is the son of an influential person in the town.

So lying to him could heavily backfire on the slave merchant.
Therefore I do not think they would give a false price.

Also the fact that the man is actually intending to gather the money shows that the price itself cannot be so extraordinary.
Otherwise he would have surely tried to threaten the merchant with his father's authority if he believed that the slave merchant tries to cheat him.

100,000 at least once a day for now just from spending money skill, but 10x when it levels up, so he's not that far off really, less if his potions are actually worth so much, he could probably trade a small bundle of em and save the girl from the arrogant noble brat within a day
@Talh as SlipTrick mentioned it could be a high price cause they don't like him. or alternate possibility, the whole adventuring thing, the other two may be strong for the area but that doesn't mean they are actually top tier adventurers or that the world is actually all that dangerous, adventurers there might be the rough equivalent of temp hiring on earth where you get near minimum wage for short term physical labors instead of the glorious and extremely necessary defenders of humanity they are in some series. and the fact that the two adventurer girls refused to be sex slaves seriously dropped their value in spite of their good looks.

Hmm... Why do I feel like that the panel seems to jump around? Maybe the composition? Or maybe the story's pace?
