This battle completely followed the script.
* Magic that destroys the self
* MC overpowers but deliberately shows kindness
* Frenemy explodes in sorrow, hurting anyone around
* MC hurts self while approaching Frenemy for physical touch of de-brainwashing
* Dark magic runs wild and manifests into "boss"

But... it's a good formula that I still enjoy.
