@pmntamp Well, I've thought about the same thing too. If this manga was a "drama" and "tragedy" instead of "slice of life", that plot would be good from story side.

Resurrection would be cheating. Maybe Akane would go berserk with some latent powerful magic power and destroy the country and the entire world, or maybe she would going to a journey to look for forbidden magics to resurrect Hiyori and to go home whatever the cost.

Honestly I thought they'd play off the sister being away for longer. Very happy they shortened it and ended such a tear jerking scenario really positively.
